SNU Food Force 2009 - 2010

SNU Dining Services are soliciting applications from SNU students who are interested in serving the campus community by participating in the SNU Food Force. This term begins in September 2009 and concludes in May 2009. These members will act in an advisory capacity on decisions related to campus dining at SNU. The Food Force is comprised of ten to twelve students representing a range of classifications (freshman-graduate) and campus residency status (commuter & resident).

Pop's Lounge Dollar Menu

Yes, that's right! Storm Cellar is now introducing it's very own Dollar Menu. With the brainstorming of our Food Council whose members are part of the student body, we are excited to announce our new program to help you get more value from a buck!

For those days when you’re digging in the couch cushions for spare change… We are proud to present the new Pop's Lounge Dollar Menu!!! The new menu includes a handful of fast snack items, you can grab on the run, and not break the piggy bank!

Everything is so expensive right now! Groceries, utilities, you name it... And yet we still have to figure out ways to fulfill our daily needs without breaking the bank. We want to do our part to make your day a little easier, without you having to waste your gas and time.

This semester, we are pleased to announce our new simply to go "Mix & Match-Breakfast & Snacks" program! This allows all faculty and staff the opportunity to choose an affordable and convenient way to grab something quick for meetings and other gatherings on campus!

The program will be available as a fax-it-in and pick-it-up format, much like any other fast food establishment, but with the convenience of never having to leave campus! Click on the below link, print it out, choose your items, and fax it to us. It doesn't get any easier than that!

Sodexo hosted the Nazarene Business Officers for lunch in the Presidents Dining Room.

January 11th, 2009 - A six course meal was served was served for the first time on campus.

5% discount on all SNU campus catering

January 2009 - This discount is valid through May 8th 2009, and is available only for events which are paid through campus accounts.

“Candy Store” introduced in Pop’s Lounge

January 2009 - A variety of exclusive, high quality candies and snack mixes are now available.

Staff Christmas Reception

December 2008 - We were proud to host the Staff Christmas Reception.This event was held in the Heritage room in the Webster Commons building, and was open to all faculty and staff.

“Coffee Club” program in Pop’s Lounge

November 2008 - Free punch cards are available for all staff, faculty and students to utilize. For each Starbucks specialty drink purchased a punch is made to the card, and after five punches a free drink is received. The free beverage can be up to a $3.50 value.
